World Squash Day

World Squash Day - Loughborough event

Saturday Oct 20th 2012 is World Squash Day.

This worldwide event is being organised to support the bid to get squash included in the 2020 Olympics (yes, unbelievably it is still not included as an Olympic sport!)

The idea is to get a global participation squash match happening on the same day to demonstrate that squash is a popular worldwide sport.  Currently, over 20,000 players worldwide have already signed up to take part in this event!

William Davis have kindly agreed to support the event by allowing us  to use their squash facilities free of charge for the day.  There will be light refreshments provided during the day.

Additionally William Davis are offering a 50% discount off the joining fee (normally £20) to anyone who joins the William Davis Squash Club on the day.  (Normal annual fees of £25 for the year will be payable in November)
